SB Foundation Inc. - Mission Statement
The mission of our SB Foundation, Inc. is to raise money for charitable causes within the communities we serve. Our corporation is organized to undertake fundraising activities and to receive voluntary contributions to provide support for philanthropic, benevolent, public health or social welfare organizations. Our Foundation's goal is to make a positive impact on our community. Past proceeds have gone to nonprofit organizations including Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice and the United Way of Northern New Jersey, and various local scholarships.
In 2015, through our SB Foundation, Inc., we made donations to the Hemophilia Foundation, Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Local High School & College Scholarships, Kittatinny Cougar Club Event, 4-H Foundation, 200 Club of Sussex County, NewBridge Services Inc., Boy Scout Troop 150, the Veteran's Cemetery, Ginnie's House, Rainbows of Learning Preschool for Children, Sussex County Crimestoppers, the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson, Bergen Chapter NJSCPA, Bergen Catholic High School, Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children, Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County, The DZ Foundation, SMILE, Community Hope for Morris County and Morris County Crimestoppers. Additionally, our Foundation awarded three $1,000.00 scholarships to the Sussex County Community College Foundation, in their May ceremonies for the US Armed Forces Veteran Assistance Scholarship, US Armed Forces Reservist Advantage Scholarship & the US Armed Forces College Start Scholarship.
SB Foundation, Inc. is a §501(c)(3) organization, gifts to which are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.
