
SussexBank is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
Also included in FDIC’s full guarantee are the following Sussex Bank interest-bearing transaction accounts†:
Effective July 1, 2010, SussexBank will no longer be participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Non interest-bearing transaction accounts will no longer be fully guaranteed by the FDIC after June 30, 2010. All bank accounts will continue to have coverage up to $250,000 through December 31, 2013.
†The following interest-bearing transaction accounts are excluded from the Transaction Account Guarantee Program because they exceed the allowable interest rate of .50% determined by the FDIC, but continue to have coverage up to $250,000 through December 31, 2013: High Point Checking, Escrow Manager Checking and Health Savings Accounts.
